Be a Part of The Thread Alliance “Safety Net”
EVERYONE can prevent child abuse!
We all play a part in the Tapestry of other people’s lives. Volunteering is one way we can all become more involved in our community and feel good for having done it. Volunteering comes in different ways depending on each individual’s need and desire. Any way you may wish to be involved will be welcomed – whether giving your time at any of the resources mentioned, donating money or staying right at your own home and making a blanket for a child in foster care – all help “weave” a safety net for children who feel frightened and alone. Please become part of the The Thread Alliance “safety net” and help make your community a better place for all. Help end the cycle of child abuse by weaving the thread of love.
WEAVE THE THREAD OF LOVE – literally!
From the comfort of your own home, you can knit, sew, crochet or quilt a blanket, scarf, hat,
baby blankets, Lovies, etc. for a child in foster care.
